Announcing the return of The ReFarmery’s DIY workshop series

It has been a long time and we are so excited to welcome you back to the farm! Our first workshop will be our most popular class: Soap making. Space is limited to 10 stations (20 people if all students bring a friend to partner with.)

What?
A hands-on soap making workshop at the farm. Students will bring home their first batch of soap, their own soap makers tool kit, and a thorough understanding of cold process soap making.

Where?
At The ReFarmery 7313 2nd Street Rio Linda, 95673

When?
November 13, 2022 12:00-2:00pm

How much?
$95
Would you like to share your first batch of soap with a friend? One $20 guest ticket can be purchased with each full-price ticket.

What to expect:
-Step-by-step soap making and safety instruction for ages 12 and up. Students will bring home their first batch of soap ready to cut, cure and wrap in time for holiday gifts—either for family or for themselves.
-Your own soap makers toolkit (Retail value: $20.00)
-All Ingredients for your first batch of soap. We will be making a cold-process vegan soap and all oils and chemicals are included. Note: The farm only keeps a select supply of fragrance oils that mirror our produce (for example: rose, jasmine, grapefruit, orange, mint and basil are all available.) Students are welcome to select a scent or two from the farm catalog, or provide their own fragrance if they prefer. Each batch will require 1-2 fluid ounces of essential oils, depending on the strength of scent desired.
-Use of all needed equipment, power, etc.
-Homemade snacks with coffee or tea. Because we all love snacks.
