-Plant Start: Hot Peppers
Grow your own peppers using the same varieties we cultivate at the farm! All of our favorites are selected for the best flavor, and tolerance for the climate in Sacramento. Grow at your own risk - we love some spice, and some of these are seriously hot!
Thai Bird: prolific producer and spicy! This classic Asian pepper is used in stir fry, sauces and pickles and can be harvested green or red
Shishito: while not technically a “hot” pepper, you may get a spicy one on occasion! These prolific producers are great when sautéed and will always be a crowd pleaser
Cayenne Mix: beautiful bright peppers of various colors with medium spice and lots of fruits
